About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

We're looking for an adventurous and dedicated Copywriter to join our team on a
one-year contract. This creative powerhouse will partner with our other copywriters
to write copy. We know, shocker, right? You'll be responsible for the signage at our
events, the copy on our websites and the storytelling on our demand gen efforts.
And also come up with the biggest digital ideas of their career. You will partner with
designers and marketers throughout our entire org and will report to our senior
leadership.
As a group, we'll build inspire work and tell the most outstanding stories for
Dreamforce, the world's #1 software event. It's honestly the most fun three days you'll spend in a work environment. And we'll have to do the same for the other events we have throughout the year. But Dreamforce is the big one.
The Copywriter will need to express a clear understanding of Salesforce's tone and
voice. But specifically, we're talking about Dreamforce. They're the same, but
different. For Dreamforce, we are fun with a touch of whimsy. We are clear with
brevity. We are chock full of the gravitas worthy of an event like this. You'll impress our partners with your creativity, collaboration and critical thinking. You'll impress leadership by listening, reacting and improving the work the next time around.
Let's be clear: We need someone who loves to write. How do you feel about writing phenomenal headlines? Are you a conceptual dynamo? Do you get geeky about
craftsmanship? Well, how about that. You're reading the right job description.
Let us step away from the brevity to be clear about something. The ability to write phenomenal, meaningful, resonating headline is a must. A headline that only you could
write. Then we'd need you to do it again, and again, and again. That's the level of craft we're looking for.
And we don't need to tell you that achieving that high quality of copy requires dirty
work. Like converting marketing jargon into plain simple language. And leaning into a trove of digital experience. And trying to place poetry into character counts. And displaying strong relationship-building skills. Do you like doing dirty work? We do too, as long as it gets us to someplace better.
And you'll need to be adaptable. This job requires leading multiple projects and daring deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for communicating and selling work to executive level audiences. Everything you do requires a clear point of view and creative strategy.
The Copywriter needs to be able to write creatively, think conceptually, act digitally.
You'll need to be a sponge for all the knowledge they're about to learn. You will get their MBA everyday. That's why we want creatives with courageous minds. Creatives who can take tech and make it human, inventive, and invigorating. You'll need to be able to build with energy and passion. You'll need to be able to write both ground-breaking statement along with the nuts-and-bolts. You'll need to appreciate telling a good brand story and an attendee journey. And you'll need to be able to work autonomously, roll with the punches, critically look at the creative as a whole, and build a cohesive and compelling story.
We try to keep things fun and exciting on the daily. Sometimes, it happens to us.
So it's really important that we lead with compassion. We're an encouraging group that takes each other's well-being to heart. It gets hectic at times. It happens. We put in the effort to make sure we're not wearing you out all the time.
If you've made it this far down, and enjoyed what you read, you should probably get in touch with us.
