Education, Training and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent training and experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience in field service operations, inventory control, and/or warehouse.
  • 2-5 years' experience with commercial communication systems or electronics.
  • Must have at least (3) years of driving experience in the class of vehicle operated.
  • Must be able to distinguish between far, near, peripheral distances.
  • Driving record must be free of DUI/DWI for (3) three-year period prior to employment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and abilities.
  • Good Inventory control and warehouse practices.
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Very detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work well with Field Service Manager (FSM) and other Intralot employees
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, handle, and move 80 lbs.
  • Knowledge of commercial communication and telecom systems and testing equipment
  • Working knowledge of power and hand tools
  • Ladder Safety
  • Safely operate a forklift
  • Effective writing, communication, mechanical, and computer skills
  • Knowledge of electronics repair preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the FSM the Warehouse Technician performs the following duties (but not limited to) and responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

  • Manage inventory and warehouse operations
  • Purchasing and receiving processes and procedures
  • Assist FSM with monthly wall-to-wall inventories of warehouse
  • Gather, ship and track Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
  • Must maintain order and cleanliness to overall warehouse appearance
  • Follow OSHA guidelines on warehouse safety
  • Deliver Parts and machines via box truck to remote depots and customers
  • Work directly with customers to schedule their service requests within our defined SLAs
  • Provide technical support to support staff, customers and end users, including training
  • Deliver, install, and maintain retailer POS terminals and supplies throughout the State
  • Install and maintain telecom equipment such as satellite and cellular equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware problems
  • Maintain accurate service records and report any issues or incidents to FSM
  • Operate a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner while working and traveling
  • Report the need for vehicle repair or service when required and /or prescribed
  • Must maintain clean driving record while employed based on company fleet vehicle policy
  • Work an alternating/rotating schedule including weekend, and holiday shifts as necessary
  • Duties as assigned by management and Field Service Manager

Employment Eligibility Verification

Must possess valid documentation to establish identity and U.S. employment eligibility.

Security Requirements

Submission to, and ability to pass a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State Lottery and Intralot, Inc. is a requirement of employment. A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.

Special Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
