Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is seeking an EHS Specialist for Biosafety. This position, under the general supervision of the Biosafety Officer (BSO), will support activities designed to provide for a safe, compliant biological research environment through inspections, risk assessments, and training programs. The EHS specialist for biosafety is responsible for various elements of the biosafety program involved in Fred Hutch's use of infectious agents and recombinant DNA. The main duties are development, training, coordination, administration, and implementation of Fred Hutch's Biosafety Program. This position works directly with laboratories and serves as an expert source regarding biosafety best practices, hazard mitigation, containment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $72,946 to $109,408, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
