Position Overview

The Inventory Manager will be a key member of our supply chain organization, ensuring the efficient distribution and management of inventory across our 3PL facilities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring a seamless flow of goods through our network, both physical and virtual. This talented supply chain expert will use their strong technical skills to collect, consolidate, and analyze data from various sources and share insights across our Supply Chain team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: Implement strategies to maintain accurate inventory records, including monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating physical inventories. Ensure proper documentation of incoming and outgoing goods and reconcile any discrepancies.


  • Inventory Optimization: Continuously analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and carrying costs to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to maximize inventory turnover, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess/obsolete inventory through effective collaboration between demand planning, logistics team and our 3PL's.


  • Warehouse Layout and Organization: Work closely with the warehouse operations providers to optimize the layout and organization of goods within their fulfillment and distribution centers. Develop inventory management protocols and ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space.


  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular inventory reports, collaborate with internal and external auditors, highlighting key metrics such as stock levels, turnover rates, and order accuracy. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.


  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely receipts, put away and delivery of goods. Monitor supplier performance regarding inventory accuracy and proactively address any issues or delays to prevent disruptions to the supply chain.


  • Demand Planning: Collaborate closely with the demand planning team to forecast future inventory needs and develop replenishment strategies. Analyze historical data and provide ideas to adjust inventory levels accordingly to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.


About You

To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of supply chain and warehouse (B2B and DTC) operations.

Education & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in inventory management within a fulfillment and distribution network.
  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and audit protocols.
  • Confidence in working with internal and external auditors.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control techniques, demand forecasting, and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and advanced spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.


Salary Range

$115,000 - $130,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
