Summary:

The Senior HR Analyst will provide information and analysis in support of business goals and HR functions. This role leads the design, development and maintenance of HR analytical tools and dashboards.

In this position, you will support the overall HR strategy and Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives while facilitating and supporting HR transactional business processes. This position requires collaboration and team work as well as independent, unsupervised work.

This hybrid position will be a combination of remote and onsite at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle, WA. Our hybrid work environment includes remote on Monday and Friday and in the Support Center on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates accurate, repeatable and scalable reports, both requested and proactively, to support business decision-making, including performance reports/graphs, dashboards and analytics.
  • Recommends process and workflow changes to improve efficiency, data quality and employee experience.
  • Conducts regular data audits to ensure system wide consistency and accuracy. Compiles data for analysis from different sources into Microsoft Excel or other databases.
  • Compiles and prepares data for compliance reporting - i.e., EEO-1, AAP, VETS-4212, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves system, data and process-related issues. Collaborates to address issues and implement enhancements.
  • Develops system vendor relationships; acts as liaison between vendors and the HR Team to facilitate system improvements and upgrades.
  • Provides support to recruiters during hiring season with system generated functions, including mass emails, mass dispositions, etc.
  • Develops, delivers, and tracks training programs for HR, managers and office staff at all company locations.
  • Supports the implementation of new configuration and systems upgrades.
  • Drafts and maintains functional and technical requirements, documents, and test scripts. Tests system configuration changes, integrations, and mobile applications.
  • Develops HRIS training materials and related documentation.
  • Responds to end-user questions concerning software requirements and capabilities.
  • Develops regular reporting cadence and distribution to stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ of experience working in reporting, data and analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of of experience working in HR
  • Experience with core HR information systems, including applicant tracking and onboarding, workforce management (timekeeping), entitlements, learning management and performance management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Power BI, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, charts, add-ins and data analysis functions).
  • Knowledge of FLSA, Wage and Hour regulations, Equal Pay Act, and other applicable regulatory federal and state laws.
  • Familiarity with report writing tools.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and deliver effectively on ad hoc requests.
  • Strong process mapping, and procedural documentation skills.
  • A strong understanding of computer systems and web services technology.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information technology, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications and continuing education preferred.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce and Kronos Talent Management systems preferred.
  • Experience in the seafood industry preferred.

This is a Salaried - Exempt position with an annualized salary range of: $100,000 - $120,000.
